This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join an expanding Group company. You will take a lead role with Business Financial Controlling and Management Reporting activities; delivering accurate and timely financial information and establishing and maintaining a robust control environment and a culture of continuous improvement.
Duties:
1. Part of the Site Management team driving the day-to-day performance of the site.
2. Manage a team of professionals ensuring roles are fully documented and objectives are well defined.
3. Develop systems to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Operating Units' financial performance.
4. Responsible for delivering and presenting the monthly management accounts.
5. Identifying and driving action plans to improve the financial performance and to mitigate any risks identified.
6. Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasts of the business.
7. Work with departmental managers to prepare cost centre budgets, forecasts, and review actual performance to drive action plans to achieve targets, and support/manage audits.
8. Coordinate the financial strategic planning process for the Business.
9. Monitor and drive improvements in cash and working capital of the business.
10. Support the commercial business decision-making process.
11. Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and the relevant statutory accounting standards.
12. Establish and implement a control environment to underpin accurate reporting.
Your Background:
1. Must be qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
2. Experience operating at a similar level is essential.
3. Experience of costings and margin analysis is essential.
4. Experience of presenting financial data.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Leadership, motivation, and influencing skills.
7. Able to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
