SEN Behaviour Mentor – SEMH Focus – Sutton We are seeking a SEN Behaviour Mentor in Sutton to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them manage behaviour and succeed in school. Position: SEN Behaviour Mentor Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Sutton, London School Information: The school provides a nurturing environment for students with SEMH needs, offering personalised support and behavioural interventions to promote positive development. Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and group mentoring to students with SEMH needs. Assist in developing behaviour management strategies to support emotional regulation. Work with the SENCO and staff to ensure progress in both academic and personal Facilitate social skills groups to help students build relationships and improve interaction with peers. Monitor and assess student behaviour, providing regular feedback to the teaching staff and parents. Experience and Qualifications: Experience working with children with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies. Ability to build rapport with students and foster a supportive learning environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A DBS check is required.
