Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with behavioural challenges? Join our dedicated team as a Support Worker in a residential home, where you’ll provide care, guidance, and encouragement to help children thrive in their day-to-day lives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting children with their daily routines, including getting ready for school and after-school activities.
2. Supporting attendance at school and participation in extracurricular clubs.
3. Helping with food shopping, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
4. Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering emotional well-being.
5. Engaging children in recreational and social activities to promote their development.
What We’re Looking For
1. Compassionate, patient, and understanding of children with behavioural needs.
2. Reliable and able to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
3. Strong communicators and able to work as part of a team.
4. Experienced in similar roles (preferred but not essential, as training will be provided).
