Chichester College has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an EFL Teacher (Bank) at our Chichester campus. You will join us on a bank basis, and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £25.82 - £28.21 per hour.
The EFL Teacher role:
As our EFL Teacher, you will undertake teaching activities in the curriculum area, ensuring a high quality of provision in response to learners' needs, contribute to the design, development, and review of programmes in the curriculum area, and ensure that student needs are met in a responsive way, in line with the concept of inclusive learning.
Key Responsibilities of our EFL Teacher:
* To undertake teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
* To ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
* To undertake administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters in a timely manner.
* To deliver best practice in curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration British Council guidelines.
* To utilise CLASS, GEL, and other information systems as directed to improve efficiency and the student experience.
* To understand personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
* To attend training on current developments in EFL teaching practice.
Our ideal EFL Teacher should have the below skills and experience:
* Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
* Experience in teaching and assessing students.
* Experience in curriculum delivery and associated administration.
* Knowledge of current EFL teaching methodologies (including use of ILT).
* Knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference and EFL qualifications.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups.
