Are you a proactive, diligent, and confident professional with a strong interest in accountancy and business? We are seeking individuals to join our established and progressive firm of accountants in Halesowen as Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of payroll clients.
Provide managerial oversight and support to the payroll team.
Prepare monthly update reports for Directors.
Handle HMRC queries on behalf of clients.
Administer weekly and monthly payrolls, including distribution of online payslips.
Manage PAYE, National Insurance deductions, student loans, SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP, court orders, and other statutory deductions.
Proficient in Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) procedures for sub-contractors and contractors, including verifications and monthly CIS returns.
Administer pension schemes, pension auto-enrolment, incentive schemes, bonuses, ex-gratia payments, and termination payments.
Liaise with HMRC to ensure compliance with payroll legislation.
Submit annual reporting tasks including FPS, employee P60 forms, EPS, apprenticeship levy, employment allowances, and CIS returns.
Ensure timely RTI submissions in accordance with HMRC regulations.
Requirements:
Proficiency in PayCircle, Sage payroll, or similar payroll software.
Previous supervisory experience with people management skills.
