Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Power Electronics Engineer to join a specialised engineering firm, focusing on the design, manufacture and testing of high-value, low-volume electronic products. They prioritise quality and efficiency according to the best engineering standards across all project stages.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage design projects to meet specifications and budget requirements
2. Collaborate with Sales to align technical requirements and capabilities
3. Support Production with technical input to enhance manufacturing and testing efficiency
4. Ensure design compliance with company standards, customer specifications and legislation
5. Generate and approve system-level block diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts
6. Conduct simulations, component analysis, and data pack
7. Develop and validate Acceptance Test Procedures
8. Support production through troubleshooting and debugging
9. Oversee component library management
REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Full lifecycle power electronics design
2. Digital/Analogue design
3. Experience with power electronics such as power supplies
4. EMC/EMI knowledge
5. Schematics and PCB design
6. Testing and prototyping
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
1. Altium experience
2. Solidworks experience
3. Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
