As Factory Manager you'll be a key member of the Operational Leadership team and be responsible for delivering the business Operational Excellence agenda and its associated deliverables. The role focuses on meeting operational KPIs and our customer expectations through continuous improvement of the operational processes and taking a world class manufacturing approach, which plays a key part in maintaining and improving the standard. You will be responsible for the multi-site warehouse and production operation with 6 direct reports and over 50 indirect reports. You will report to the Head of Operations, and you will be working closely with the Engineering and Quality managers. Salary: c. £55,000 p.a. plus benefits Responsibilities Promote health and safety culture across the operations. Highly effective leadership of the multi – site, putting people at the heart of everything we do. Own the excellence agenda encompassing Lean, Lean Six Sigma or Operational Excellence capability and productivity delivery. Create and sustain an operations culture that is built on Lean manufacturing methodologies Deliver continuous performance improvement through identification, support and leadership of projects, driving improvements in efficiency and other KPIs. Experience and Key Skills Significant operational leadership experience with a demonstrated track record of applying either Lean or TPM principles to realise business goals and deliver productivity. Proven ability in strategy development and deployment, thinking beyond tactical task execution. Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the business, as well as lead and facilitate Improvement projects or workshops within the warehouse and production teams.
