About the role: This role is primarily based at our Cambridge campus. Provide high quality teaching and access to learning in addition to undertaking associated course lead and tutorial duties. It is expected that the post holder will contribute to course design, development of programmes and the expansion of the area generally. The main responsibility of this role will be to provide high quality teaching, learning and assessment in addition to undertaking associated tutorial duties. The primary duties, tasks and responsibilities of this job role are to; Deliver high quality teaching and learning to a timetable that may include evening, Saturday and summer periods. Deliver inspirational teaching and access to learning across a range of programmes. Provide teaching and assessment opportunities in line with the relevant awarding organisation requirements to promote access to achievement. Provide and maintain teaching materials on the VLE and other online platforms Prepare Schemes of Work and Schemes of Assessment. Undertake the necessary administrative tasks required for the effective operation of programmes in the area Carry out standardisation/ assessment and internal quality assurance. What we are looking for in our role: The ideal applicant will have experience in teaching and assessing Early Years programmes with relevant occupational competency and experience working in the Early Years sector. They will be passionate about their subject and inspirational to learners with the ability to generate creative teaching and learning materials, along with good organisational and time-management skills. Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications or industry experience with a full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS) is required for the role. Applicants with a L3 teaching qualification who are willing to undertake a full L5 Diploma in Education and Training will be considered.
