Key Tasks, Duties AND Responsibilities 1. Service Delivery 1.1 Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a safe and effective multi disciplinary approach in relation to the broader service delivery team that complies with the high standards of professional practice required by Bosence Farm Community Ltd (BFC Ltd). 1.2 The Clinical psychologist will be responsible for working and leading with the Therapeutic lead, Key workers and Counselling team in supporting people in treatment who have multiple needs including those with significant trauma and addiction issues 1.3 Lead, develop and implement a range of modalities to provide varied treatment options. 1.4 You will work across the site in a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical oversight as well as assessing and monitoring complex needs across site 1.5 Working with co-occurring disorders, clients families and multi-agency working is essential for the role. 1.6 Conduct comprehensive assessments pre-admission and following admission. 1.7 Provide clinical support in treatment for our clients which includes robust risk management, care planning and aftercare. 1.8 Experience and confidence in leading teams and skill matching and mapping is crucial for the role. 1.9 Embed psychological practice through assessment of individual cases, monitor delivery and effectiveness 1.10 Offer training, support and clinical supervision on therapeutic techniques 1.10.1 Support the team to develop safe working practice when supporting those with significant trauma 1.11 In accordance with BFC Ltd written policy, contribute to ensuring a safe environment where risk management and safety are of the highest importance, and to ensure that all service users are safeguarded from physical, financial, material, psychological or sexual abuse, neglect, and discriminatory abuse, self-harm or inhuman or degrading treatment, through deliberate intent, negligence or ignorance. 1.12 Contribute to ensuring an environment that offers respect and dignity to each individual service user. 1.13 Contribute to ensuring a safe environment where risk management and safety are of the highest importance. 1.14 Ensure effective communication of client information internally and externally as required using established written and verbal communication systems. 1.15 Deliver and maintain procedures for assessment, admission and induction of service users and liaise and work in partnership with appropriate internal services and external agencies as necessary. 1.16 To work effectively with service users in detox who will be attending Bosence Rehab to assist in preparing them for admission. 1.17 To assist in promoting the work of BFC to other agencies in Cornwall and where required further afield. 1.18 Keep up-to-date regarding developments in the field to ensure Bosence Farm Community Ltd continues to provide a service that is responsive and relevant to changing need. 1.19 Contribute to the ongoing review, evaluation and monitoring of the residential care services delivered at Bosence Farm Community Ltd in order to improve quality, standards and outcomes. 1.20 Ensure efficient record keeping and data collection at all times. 1.21 Deliver safe and appropriate recreational activities to clients as required. 1.22 Attend clinical supervision, progress reviews and staff support sessions 1.23 To pursue a programme of personal and professional development 2. General 2.1 Maintain continuing professional development, to keep abreast of best practice and developments in the field and to undertake mandatory training and refresher training as agreed by BFC Ltd. 2.2 Ensure adherence to BFC Ltd confidentiality policy in all aspects of work. 2.3 Promote and adhere to the content and values of BFC Ltd equal opportunity policy in all aspects of work. 2.4 Promote health and safety in all aspects of work and implement Bosence Farm Community Ltd policy and procedures in regard to this. 2.5 Promote and maintain effective channels of reporting and communication at all levels within Bosence Farm Community Ltd in order to promulgate and accomplish the organisations mission, values and objectives. 2.6 Be prepared where necessary to be part of the 24-hour shift cover rota system in place when needed. 2.7 Attend and participate in meetings as required by the Manager, including supervision, appraisal and training. 2.8 Undertake specific tasks and projects as directed by the Manager. 2.9 Produce written reports as required 2.10 Manage personal workload in liaison with the Manager. 2.11 Carry out other relevant duties appropriate to this role in the organisation. 2.12 Be prepared to work in other locations within the organisation as required. The role requires you to have Qualifications and Experience: Registered psychologist with relevant degree qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a related field. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or other relevant professional body Proven experience in providing psychological services to staff and individuals working with people who have experienced addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
