We are looking for an experienced, professional Chef de Partie to join our award-winning team at Stobo Castle Health Spa.
Stobo Castle Health Spa is a family-run business nestled among the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside, located just outside the town of Peebles.
The Kitchen team is led by our Executive Head Chef, Stephen King, who is committed to sourcing only the best local produce from the most reputable suppliers. The kitchen team operate with continually evolving seasonal menus and our daily specials board gives a further platform to express your personality, creative flair, and culinary experience.

Your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Take charge of a designated section of the Kitchen and produce all food for that section as directed by the Executive Head Chef/Sous Chef in line with our menus.
2. Ensure that all food is served in a consistent manner following the guidelines and recipes laid down.
3. Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
4. Work in conjunction with the wider Kitchen team ensuring stock rotation and the highest standards of hygiene.
5. Contribute to a happy and efficient working team and environment.
What we are looking for:
1. A highly motivated candidate possessing an immense sense of pride in their work, and passionate about delivering the highest standard for our guests.
2. Be able to work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
3. A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to work.
4. Well organised and punctual, with a meticulous eye for detail.
5. Ability to take initiative and have a practical approach to problem solving.
6. A positive and flexible approach to work (weekends and evening work will be required).
7. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

1. Full-time hours including evening and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year.
