This role will require a professional who is highly creative and is skilled at concepting disruptive creative campaigns and visuals across all channels. You will enjoy solving complex creative problems with a proactive and positive approach. You’ll have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask while meeting tight deadlines.
You will be working within a small but dynamic Creative Team and cross-disciplinary teams such as Marketing, D2C and B2B to help build campaigns, social content, branding and foundational content. Additionally collaborating with external creative agencies and partners on campaign specific projects. You will have an ambition to innovate and develop our communications with fresh thinking and to create brave and disruptive work.
Skills, know-how & experience:
1. 5+ years’ experience working as a creative
2. A passion and up to date knowledge of youth culture and trends
3. Experience of working in youth culture brands
4. A portfolio of exceptional creative work across brands and media
5. Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
6. Able to take onboard feedback in a calm and measured manner so creative work meets the expectations of the stakeholders
7. The ability to generate creative ideas from conception to delivery, including all disciplines where necessary
8. Working collaboratively with creatives across all disciplines including CGI, Motion, Design & Copy
9. Highly organised, good at time management and able to juggle projects
10. Confidence and interpersonal skills to engage people at different levels, including company founders and stakeholders
Key areas of accountability will include:
1. Creatively concept ideas for all campaigns, moments and product launches.
2. Produce engaging digital content for various platforms, including social media graphics, website elements, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
3. Design eye-catching print materials such as packaging, merchandise, promotional materials, and event collateral that maintain brand consistency and appeal to our target demographic.
4. Create original graphics that enhance our brand storytelling.
5. Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, youth culture, and industry best practices to ensure our brand remains relevant and innovative.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and merchandising, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and a unified visual identity across all channels.
7. Solicit feedback from stakeholders and iterate on designs to continuously improve and refine our visual assets.
8. Support the delivery of all creative work, ensuring everything created on our behalf reflects our brand values.
9. Create, follow and implement brand guidelines, as well as developing brand/style guidelines.
10. Work efficiently to timing plans and meet all deadlines and expectations.
11. Build strong relationships with any external design agencies and external suppliers.
12. Support and deliver all work on our brand and visual identity.
13. Demonstrate commercial focus in all decision making to ensure value for money.
14. Coaching and mentoring junior members of the creative and design team.
