An opportunity has arisen to recruit a highly motivated and experienced individual to a Team Administrator position working 37.5 hours per week supporting mental health services for older people community team in Bishop Auckland.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to support and maintain standard systems and processes set out by the Trust. The successful candidate will need to have excellent IT and organisational skills and have a good knowledge and understanding of information systems. The ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure to meet deadlines and demonstrate a flexible, motivated attitude to work will also be essential. Very good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels are required.
The post holder will have contact with service users and members of the public and have an important role in helping the service to run efficiently.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
* Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role. Where an applicant does not have the above qualifications or are unable to provide evidence of the certification, the applicant MUST achieve the required standards during their probationary period.
Experience
* Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute taking, data input, collating and presenting information).
* Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence).
* Experience of organising competing demands and workloads.
* Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes.
* Experience of working autonomously and proactively.
* Experience of supporting/supervising staff.
* Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines.
Skills/Knowledge
* Comprehensive knowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and the ability to undertake associated tasks ensuring adherence to defined procedures and guidelines.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Understanding of confidentiality and the associated legal and policy requirements.
* Demonstrate good organisational and diary management skills to include co-ordination of meetings and associated duties.
* Communicate effectively in the English language and demonstrate both verbal and written comprehension skills.
* Input data accurately and efficiently.
* Work on own initiative, prioritise work and consistently meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of Trust systems e.g. cardea; IIC.
