We are recruiting a Senior Business Development Representative (50K salary with 20-30K commission average (uncapped)) for the leading global provider of affordable clean solar energy.

Role Specifics:
* Lead and manage solar energy projects from initial concept through to commissioning and handover.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Coordinate with regulatory agencies for approvals and inspections.
* Manage required administration for grant management to ensure successful completion within all guidelines
* Manage resources, materials, and timelines to ensure smooth execution of projects.
* Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
* Report regularly to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.
* Ensure that all projects meet quality assurance standards and safety regulations.
* Provide technical oversight for the design and engineering of solar PV systems
* Ensure that projects are designed and built in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
* Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project potential.
* Liaise with current suppliers on new technology opportunities for UrbanVolt to provide B2B
* Monitor project costs and financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Address any project-related issues, concerns, or changes with clients and stakeholders.
What We Are Looking For:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or Construction studies
* Minimum of 4 years in previous PV Solar, BESS, and energy efficiency roles, including project design
* Strong technical knowledge of solar PV system design, electrical systems, and grid integration
* Financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
* Good working knowledge of project management tools and strong general IT skills with a focus on Google products (Sheets, Documents, Slides, GMail etc)
* Familiar with Helioscope ,PvSyst, and similar applications
* Experience using Fusion Solar, Solis and other inverter platforms
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
