Team/Role Overview The P rogramme Resource Manager is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognised technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. What you’ll do Identify resource requirements for the programme and work with workstream leads to allocate resources effectively. Track and report c800 headcount across the Strategic Ledger Programme to include FTE, Contractors and consultants. Track and manage open hires for the programme, collaborating with HR and hiring managers to ensure timely recruitment and onboarding of qualified candidates. Budget and forecasting of headcount. Monitor the performance and availability of current resources dedicated to the programme. Regularly review resource allocations and make adjustments as needed based on programme priorities. Ensure timely submissions of full-time equivalent (FTE) requirements to Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) team. Acts as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. What we’ll need from you CPA preferred. Relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred. Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others. Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment. Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
