CRO Analyst
Are you looking for your next big role in the exciting world of CRO?
We are Door4, a marketing agency based in Burnley, with a core focus on performance marketing for home and garden e-commerce brands, and we are looking for someone just like you.
We help e-commerce and lead-generation businesses reach their ideal audience, convert customers, and create further opportunities for growth. With decades of combined experience in digital marketing and web development, Door4 challenges clients to see, think, and do things differently. As a CRO Specialist, we want an individual who can take our CRO services to new heights, enhancing service delivery and commercial impact for Door4.
This role requires a strategic and commercial thinker with a keen interest in user experience (UX). Working collaboratively with the wider performance team, you will build business cases that encourage clients to think about user journeys from the first interaction with the brand to the client's desired outcome.
You will coordinate and implement testing strategies to enhance user experiences and drive improved conversion rates on our clients’ websites. You will be passionate about site optimisation, psychology, and understanding what makes consumers tick, while applying your analytical and critical thinking approach to each project.
Your responsibilities:
* Creating and maintaining testing plans with clear hypotheses and goals based on data. Liaising with other teams such as the Web Development and Design teams to create, develop, and launch tests.
* Collaborating with our client services and senior management teams to identify opportunities to utilise CRO for clients not currently running website tests.
* Communicating, sharing, and prioritising testing plans with client teams.
* Leading the testing strategy and methodologies within Door4, determining the right approach from 'just do it' fixes to complex A/B testing and MVT programmes.
* Working closely with the performance team to understand conversion rate fluctuations for clients based on traffic mixes and mitigating them in future planning.
* Conducting user research on behalf of clients to understand and address problem statements, using both quantitative and qualitative data to demonstrate these issues.
* Developing and implementing user experience projects according to objectives, determining the appropriate deliverables for each client, and allowing flexibility to pivot based on results.
Skills you can demonstrate:
Technical competencies:
* At least 2 years of experience in a CRO role with a strong understanding of optimisation and testing methods.
* Proficiency in web analytics, analysing data to identify opportunities for improving revenue, sales, leads, and engagement. You can build trends and stories from data, not just numbers and reports.
* Critical thinking as a key strength, allowing you to deconstruct challenges and tackle each component effectively.
* A solid understanding of the wider marketing landscape and how it impacts website performance.
* Experience in tracking and setting up tag management for clients.
Behavioural competencies:
* You’re a self-starter who takes responsibility for the growth and delivery of the end-to-end service.
* Strong attention to detail is essential, as accuracy with large accounts is critical.
* A skilled communicator, active listener, and storyteller, capable of building constructive, transparent relationships. You can confidently represent Door4 when presenting your case to stakeholders, both internally and externally.
* A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
* You actively promote a team culture within Door4, contributing to workflows, building trust, and embracing feedback.
