Our client is an independent, busy farm animal practice located in the heart of Leicestershire, serving the picturesque Leicestershire and Rutland countryside. They are seeking an experienced Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in a senior position.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in beef and sheep flock health, as our client aims to further develop services in these areas. Self-motivation and leadership qualities are essential to drive plans for an exciting new branch development. You must also have 3 years + previous experience.
You will join a dedicated and experienced group of veterinary staff, including 12 vets, with a certificate holder in Cattle Health and Production, and a wonderful farm support team. The practice takes a proactive approach to help clients ensure the good health and performance of their dairy and beef cattle, sheep flocks, and gamebirds. They regularly hold technical meetings on topics such as foot-trimming, mastitis control, and youngstock rearing.
The practice is proud to be RCVS accredited, showcasing their commitment to large animal welfare. Their regular clinical club and in-house CPD meetings are excellent opportunities to discuss cases, share ideas, and stay updated with new products. Our client actively supports the team in developing their skill set and progressing into areas of interest.

The Rota:
• Full time role
• 1:5 OOH rota with TOIL following your weekend on-call
