Join our client in Harkstead as a Support Worker, where you will assist adults with learning disabilities and autism in their own homes.
What You’ll Do:
As a Support Worker, you will:
Provide personal care, meal preparation, and medication assistance.
Help residents manage household tasks such as shopping and paying bills.
Support individuals in accessing the community and taking part in their chosen activities.
Plan and participate in engaging activities like arts & crafts, board games, outings, and movie nights.
Assist with appointments and promote independence in all aspects of daily living.
Position Details:
Location: Harkstead
Hours: Full-time contracts available (22.5 to 37.5 hours per week)
Pay: £12.10 per hour plus overtime
Shift Patterns: Flexible, offering a great work-life balance
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in care is welcome but not essential – we also value individuals eager to start a rewarding career in support work.
A UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
The ability to work with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
