We are looking for a CWP Engineer (Civil Work Pack Engineer) to support the execution of construction work packs within a major nuclear project at Hinkley Point C (HPC), UK. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth coordination, compliance, and progress of construction activities.
Responsibilities
* Develop, review, and update Construction Work Packs (CWPs) to ensure alignment with project requirements and construction sequencing.
* Ensure documentation, drawings, and specifications are accurate and compliant with nuclear safety and quality standards.
* Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to guarantee a seamless workflow.
* Interface with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate work execution.
* Monitor work progress, identifying potential constraints and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
* Support the MEH Alliance by enabling coordination with Piping, Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC disciplines.
* Ensure CWPs adhere to HSE and nuclear site requirements.
* Contribute to risk assessments, work permits, and quality control processes.
* Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project management.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, or Civil Engineering.
Experience: At least 5 years in construction work pack development and coordination within a highly regulated industry (Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC).
Experience in CWP creation, management & implementation.
Strong knowledge of construction workflows, installation sequencing, and work permits.
Familiarity with HSE standards & nuclear regulations.
Ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
