About the role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Geography Teacher for an excellent secondary school in Preston. The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will be a subject specialist in Geography.
The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities
This role will start September 2024 and will be initially till December 2024, but could possibly extend into the new year and transfer onto a permanent contract.

This 11-16 Secondary school based in Preston serves the local community. Their strong ethos and values are promoted throughout the school, where staff members and students alike adhere and respect each other. The desired Geography teacher will also join the school way and adhere to the values of the school. You will be supported by a well established department.
Requirements
To be considered for the Geography Teacher position, you will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching in Secondary schools, ideally up to GCSE.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Subject specialists.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
