As a Principal Engineer – Systems Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering complex engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide subject matter expertise in Systems Engineering, including Requirements Management, Integration, Verification & Validation, and Model-Based Systems Engineering. Requirements & Acceptance: Define, manage, and validate system requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and contractual obligations. Integration & Validation: Develop and oversee integration strategies, test plans, and defect management processes to deliver compliant technical solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive system design, development, and delivery. Mentorship: Coach and develop team members, fostering expertise in Systems Engineering practices and methodologies. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the engineering lifecycle. Essential Skills and Experience: Degree or equivalent qualification in a STEM-related discipline. Comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering processes and the engineering lifecycle. Proven experience in requirements management, integration, validation, and verification within complex projects. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and projects, with excellent stakeholder management skills. Desirable Skills: Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
