Are you passionate about Geography and inspiring students to explore the world around them? We are looking for an exceptional Geography Teacher to join our dedicated Humanities department in Enfield from January 2025.
The Role
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons that encourage curiosity about the physical and human world. You will play a vital role in equipping students with the knowledge and skills to think critically about global and environmental challenges. This role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering a curriculum that inspires a love for Geography and develops analytical and research skills.
* Creating a stimulating classroom environment where all students can thrive.
* Encouraging students to connect their learning to real-world issues, including sustainability and global citizenship.
* Tracking and assessing student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
* Contributing to the development of the Geography curriculum and departmental initiatives.
