About the Role: MET Strip/Fitter Technician As a MET Strip/Fitter Technician, you’ll play a vital role in the repair process, ensuring vehicles are restored to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: Dismantling and reassembling vehicles to meet manufacturer specifications. Conducting thorough inspections to evaluate damage and determine repair needs. Diagnosing and addressing mechanical and electrical faults using advanced tools. Collaborating with the Bodyshop team to deliver timely, high-quality repairs. Ensuring a safe, organized, and clean workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations. About You To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: Proven experience as a MET Strip/Fitter or in a similar role within the accident repair sector. Strong technical expertise in vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair methods. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and Bodyshop equipment. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Relevant qualifications (e.g., SVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are a plus.
