We are looking for a paralegal with the potential to undertake a training contract, to work within our residential conveyancing team based at our offices in Ipswich.
The role will require you to:
* Undertake general administration on the instruction of Fee Earners
* Undertake certain elements of fee earning work under supervision
* Communicate directly with clients both in person and remotely via telephone and email
* Support senior fee earners to gather information and explain legal matters
* Maintain up to date legal knowledge in relation to residential conveyancing legislation, ensuring changes are brought to the attention of the team
* Meet and greet clients at the Firm’s offices professionally and courteously
* Work proactively on own initiative, delivering good quality work in a timely manner
* Ensure that all documentation created adheres to the Firm’s brand guidelines
To be successfully appointed to the role you will need to be:
* A clear and concise communicator
* Confident in the use of IT systems, particularly Word and Excel
* Able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and methodical ways of working
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Able to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
* Able to effectively structure own workload
* Able to work full time from our offices in Ipswich
