About the project
The Colindale Station Redevelopment project encompasses the design, construction and handover of a new London Underground station to replace the existing. The project looks to overcome station congestion and passenger delay, as well as contributing to the delivery of the Mayor’s Transport Strategy’s Accessibility Improvement Plan.
What will you be doing
Quantity Surveying to manage the construction site expenditure and payments:
* Assist with forecasting the cost of the project activities.
* Assist with tracking changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections in line with these.
* Support the selecting and/or sourcing contractors and/or subcontractors to work on the construction stage of the project.
* Measuring and valuing the work done on site.
* Dealing with financial and legal problems.
* Paying subcontractors.
* Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
What qualifications do I require?
A-levels or equivalent in Maths, Physics or any other science based subject.
