SJC Partners are recruiting for an excellent opportunity on a permanent basis for an Accounts Assistant to be based in Wigan. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for transactional finance ensuring both purchase & sales ledger month end procedures and daily tasks are fully completed. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include: Daily and weekly bank reconciliations Supplier BACS payment runs and additional further payments when required Entering all daily payments and gaining approval from the Finance Manager Month end purchase ledger procedures and review. Handle price queries Lead supplier relationships and handling queries promptly Monitoring the finance email inbox Paying suppliers once approved Sales Ledger cover when required including cash counting and receipting Petty cash reconciliation where required Month end review to ensure all banks are fully reconciled Support in other areas when required, including month end journals Benefits of the role include: 25 days holiday Bank Holidays Company discount Pension scheme Free onsite parking Cycle to work scheme
