The School and Role
A Bolton Primary School in Farnworth requires a Year 6 Teacher to support children leading them into their SATs and readiness for high school.
You will use a range of assessment strategies to support children to make good progress in their learning by building upon the skills they have gained in previous years.
The school is based in Bolton and is part of a trust of 10 other schools, due to this you will have access to excellent resources and equipment, with regular access to CPD, PPA and development opportunities.
Requirements
To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status PGCE (QTS), ECTS are welcome to apply
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 as a Year 6 Teacher
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Able to assist all children to develop emotional security, self-belief and mature social skills.
Oracy development skills would be desirable.
Promote a love of learning and an excitement about coming to school each day. Passion for inspiring children and fostering a love for learning.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
A commitment to continuous professional development.
