We have a wonderful opportunity for a Fees Management Assistant within our friendly and supportive Commercial Finance Team based in our Darlington Support Centre. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. You will be supporting with the fee uplift and management process across the Group and securing income and annual % uplifts for our Residential and Care in the Home packages.

What you'll be doing:
1. Communicate and negotiate annual fee uplift expectations to ICBs, Local Authority, and private clients.
2. Discussion with service managers and other colleagues to help with costing.
3. Communication with funders and continue follow up as required.
4. Keep accurate and organised records of communication with funders and others regarding fees.
5. Keep accurate records of any agreed fees and inform relevant colleagues to ensure accurate billing.
6. Monthly/weekly reporting on progress to date and future fee increase projection.
7. Help resolve discrepancies in expected fees and actual receipts.
8. Build a working relationship with the units to ensure that the required information is received.
What you'll have:
1. Previous experience working in a similar role within the healthcare sector.
2. Good understanding of LA funding process required.
3. High level of accuracy and good attention to detail.
4. Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
5. Able to work autonomously and flexibly.
6. Positive enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.
7. Strong Excel, analysis and presentational skills.
