Office Coordinator – Diversified Business Communications: Brighton Office, UK
Part time (21 hours per week), Permanent role.
We are currently recruiting an experienced part-time Office Coordinator to work alongside the HR, People and Culture Director and support the Office Manager & HR Administrator in the day-to-day running of the business.
This is an ideal role for someone who is energetic, personable, empathetic and intuitive to the needs of others. Someone who loves to be organised, pays attention to detail and is happiest when busy.
This is a part-time, office-based role working four mornings a week, Monday to Thursday. This is not strictly a desk job, you will be actively moving around the office to keep the place tidy and organised, as well as running errands.

THE ROLE:
* Keeping the office tidy, includes sorting recycling & clearing the kitchen and meeting rooms.
* Ensuring the kitchen is always stocked with tea, coffee, milk and fruit etc.
* Assist with maintaining good Health & Safety, Fire Safety and First Aid practices around the office.
* Liaising with building security, front desk and any other contractors when needed.
* Assist with the ongoing management of an office & IT hardware inventory.
* Dealing with any internal maintenance issues within the office as they arise.
* Setting up hardware in the office; including PC’s, webcams, printers etc. Supporting with basic IT troubleshooting requests that arise and ordering equipment for new starters when necessary.
* Pro-actively ordering stationary and other office supplies including name badges, business cards and uniform.
* Collecting and distributing post. Assisting staff with organising couriers or larger mail outs when needed.
* Answering and directing phone calls on reception. Assisting with meeting & greeting all visitors, organising, booking and maintaining meeting rooms to a high standard/arranging refreshments and ensuring all visitors have signed in and out correctly.
* Supporting with the administration required around employee on/offboarding.
* Helping to arrange company social events.
* Arranging transportation and accommodation for business trips.
YOUR PROFILE:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year’s solid experience in a similar role and office environment.
* Experience of working within a business-to-business (B2B) environment a plus but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly, helpful and positive outlook.
* Comfortable and proficient with Microsoft office software.
* Ability to multi-task, use own initiative and problem solve when needed.
* Ability to organise your own time efficiently.
* Personable with an aptitude for helping others.
