About the apprenticeship
Duties
•Load and unload aircraft and helicopters and fly with it all over the world.
•Co-ordinate and process passengers and cargo flying out on operations.
•Drive a forklift and other specialist vehicles to load freight for transport.
•Plan aircraft loads using logistical IT systems.
•Work alongside multiple government agencies to provide support to humanitarian operations worldwide.
Additional information
As an apprentice in the RAF you will be trained to play a role in the RAF’s mission to defending the skies of the UK and projecting the UK’s power and influence around the world. You will also be involved with assisting to deliver humanitarian aid around the world as directed by the UK Government. You could work at multiple locations in the UK.
