Founded over a century ago, the British engineering institution has a storied history filled with moments of ingenuity and excellence.Due to a huge increase in order books alongside many exciting upcoming projects, they are now offering multiple CNC Machinists the chance to work and take part in a 12-month fixed-term contract.Your new roleYou will operate in a busy, world-class engineering and manufacturing environment and be responsible for delivering against weekly targets to meet customer requirements. Your role as a Machinist would be machining discs and drums using multiple machining platforms to conforming standards, this could be roughing, intermediate or finishing operations.Over the next 12 months, you will be operating a large variety of CNC Machinery, consisting mostly of turning, using Siemens and Fanuc programming (no actual programming will be required).The shift pattern for this role will be as follows: 3 shifts (Monday to Friday / Morning, afternoons, nights - 6am-2pm / 2pm-9pm / 9pm-6am)What you'll need to succeedNon-Negotiable: An NVQ, SVQ, or City & Guilds (Level 3) or equivalent qualification within a relevant discipline.Please Note: All candidates must include copies of their certifications as evidence of suitability.
