Senior Account Manager / Merchandiser - The role Responsible for raising/processing customers’ orders and after amending sending these out to factories Liaising with customers regarding orders, problem solving and making decisions in conjunction with team leader and if required with Director. Ensuring that all the information, style, fabrics, trims, prices, shipment date and all other relevant information are correct and as per customer requirements. Ensuring customer requirements are achieved through all stages of the critical path from first sample, order, pre-production to final delivery Meeting all pre-production stages of the customer, including fabric performance testing standards. Ensuring all parcels with samples/submissions to customers and factories have correct and relevant and update to date information. Have effective communication at all levels with the teams, internally and external When required attend customer meetings to ensure continued customer satisfaction and that all opportunities are capitalised on. Reporting to the Team leader / Director with weekly and monthly updates, on critical path and escalating issues where necessary. Ad hoc duties as required by management. Senior Account Manager / Merchandiser - The candidate Ability to build excellent customer and supplier relations. Understanding of garment production industry IT literate with sound experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programmes. Experience of managing fast-paced critical path Strong organisational skills Excellent time keeping and ability to meet short deadlines Ability to develop and inspire a close-knit team. Capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. Flexible approach to working to fast moving, changing demands Minimum at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
