About the Role As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the site’s equipment and facilities. You will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of reliability, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime. Ensure all equipment meets food safety and health & safety regulations. Drive engineering projects to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimise plant performance. Manage budgets and liaise with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions. What We’re Looking For ✅ Proven experience as an Engineering Manager (or similar leadership role) in food manufacturing or FMCG. ✅ Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical engineering, automation, and maintenance strategies. ✅ Experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and asset care strategies. ✅ A hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills. ✅ Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree) and strong knowledge of compliance regulations.
