The Role, reporting to the Managing Director is an extremely varied role that requires a passionate, motivated, self-starter. The role As an Office Administrator & Accounts Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director in an extremely varied role that requires a passionate, motivated, self-starter. You’ll be required to ensure the smooth running of the business office on a day-to-day basis and provide full operational support. You will initiate the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently have responsibility for specific tasked and projects. The role requires a hands-on individual with the skills and experience to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Your duties and responsibilities will be Banking/Bankline Payroll/Subcontractors & Agency/Pensions/Private Health scheme Sage Accounts/VAT returns/Month End procedures/Year end procedures Credit control HMRC requirements Management reports/WIP/Margins Insurances/claims Liaison/Meetings with the following, as and when necessary; Accountant/Bank manager/Insurers/Solicitors/Chartered surveyors /Debt collection agencies Chart of accounts & nominal ledger settings Dividends & payments Payroll legislation & implementation of new schemes as required HRGeneral Administrative Duties Sales & Purchase ledgers Petty Cash/Expenses & Credit card Month end payments Timesheets Hotel & travel bookings Updating job list in CM Server back up Sage update installations Congestion charges/Oyster cards/Vehicle parking. Vehicle maintenance & Tax. Mobile phone & Energy contracts. Typing duties. Post, answering phone & answering door.
