IT Business Partner
at Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Required: As soon as contractually possible
Salary Range: £43,421 - £48,474 (subject to inflationary review)
About us
Mater Ecclesiae is a new and growing Catholic Multi Academy Trust in Preston, Lancashire. We currently consist of nine primary schools and one secondary school. In line with the Bishop’s vision for schools across the Diocese of Lancaster we are due to grow to seventeen schools before the end of this academic year; when fully formed we will consist of twenty primary and three secondary schools.
As part of our growth plan, we are now looking to appoint our first IT Business Partner. You will provide our Trust with a safe and effective IT environment, which is crucial to our ability to deliver the Bishop’s vision.
The Role
As the founding IT Business Partner, you will work with the Chief Financial Officer and the central team to implement our new IT strategy. You will be our expert advisor on how to make best use of our IT resources, enjoying working alongside our family of schools as much as you enjoy staying up to date with all things technical!
You will look for continuous improvements, ensuring that the Trust has high quality and fit-for-purpose technology, and advise colleagues on best value.
You will be resilient, and as enthusiastic as we are about the future of our Trust, appreciate the privilege of making a key contribution to setting the scene for the future success of our Trust, and be able to see the bigger picture.
Safeguarding
Our Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share the commitment and undergo an enhanced DBS check. The successful candidate will be appointed under the terms and conditions of a CES contract which they will be required to sign.
The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974(Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful, you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a ‘Disclosure.’ Information provided by you or the Disclosure and Barring Service will be dealt with in a confidential manner in accordance with the DBS’s Code of Practice.
