This Management Information Systems (MIS) and Compliance Officer role is required to provide support to the MIS Lead with all tasks related to funding returns, enrolments, registrations, timetabling and system development for MTC Training.
Main Responsibilities
1. To follow the procedures necessary for the collection and processing of required data to meet funding and awarding organisation requirements.
2. Processing apprenticeship service account actions.
3. To assist with the timely and accurate production of MTC Training’s monthly funding claims.
4. Ensure all records are maintained to meet internal and external audit requirements such as employer, apprentice and sub-contracting contracts.
5. Produce reports using software for internal and external use ensuring reporting and information is timely and relevant.
6. To assist in monitoring of academic performance data, including use of the MTC Training performance monitoring software.
7. To assist in the completion of the post enrolment performance checks as required, to ensure learners are attending compliant programmes of study.
8. Processing information requests involving the potential disclosure of sensitive information which require the correct authorisation.
9. To support the timetabling process through preparation, checking and input.
10. To process timetabling and room change requests.
11. To setup and input registers and to investigate and resolve register queries, processing any necessary changes in a timely and efficient way.
12. Act as gatekeeper of MTC Training’s register process, ensuring where identified instances of poor practice are challenged.
13. Provide accurate reports in line with organisational expectations.
14. Complete regular compliance checks against funding rules and internal operating procedures.
15. Assist the MIS Lead in systems upgrades, maintenance and modifications.
16. Work with the MIS Lead to implement enhancements to software systems in use by MTC Training to ensure that the service and systems support key information requirements.
17. Support colleagues to use systems effectively.
18. Produce user guides for systems.

1. Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English grade C or above.

1. IT qualifications in Microsoft Office.
2. Apprenticeship funding rules.
3. ILR funding returns.
4. ILR submission and register software, ideally Pro Solution.
5. Awarding organisation registration and certification process.
6. ESFA funding audits.
7. Experience of using e-portfolios, ideally Smart Assessor.
