You can find out more about us and the clients we have worked with at https://goodgrowth.co.uk/ The role: Our Finance Manager role will oversee our finance operations, including AP/AR, invoicing, month-end close and cash management. They will work closely with our Finance Business Partner and other key stakeholders to ensure efficient processes and collaborate on system improvements to support business growth. You will have the opportunity to in-house the Finance function, and scope what good looks like. Key Accountabilities: Full responsibility for the end-to-end finance operations from bookkeeping to reconciled Management Accounts. Take ownership of day-to-day financial operations (AP/AR/Treasury), ensuring smooth processes and accurate reporting. Raise Customer invoicing with the support of the Finance Business Partner Establish a robust Manage AR and credit control process, with a focus on cash maximisation and client satisfaction. Overhaul and run the AP process to ensure efficiency, simplicity and accuracy, processing supplier invoices, managing payment runs, and using tooling where appropriate to automate. Own the month end close process, resulting in an accurate accounts and timely reporting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial systems and support business scaling. Get involved in process improvement initiatives, ensuring the finance function is ready for the next stage of growth. Prepare and submit VAT returns Cashflow reporting Regular reporting for banking and investor purposes Play a key role in supporting the company’s reporting requirements for its investors and stakeholders. Work with external accountants on Statutory accounts, path to audit and more complex matters Bank, balance sheet and customer/supplier reconciliations. Adhoc work when required.
