We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a background in food and beverage management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the bar operations, working closely with the head chef
* Hire, train, and supervise bar staff to maintain excellent customer service
* Manage staff hours, rotas, and holidays
* Create and update drink menus, manage events, and functions
* Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or complaints
* Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service
* Cellar management, line cleaning, and beer ordering
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage products
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere
* Ability to organise events and functions, including Christmas dinners and beer festivals
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
