Reporting to the Head of Customer Services, this role is based in Milton Keynes. Role Summary The Order Management Specialist will support the wider Sales and Logistics teams through the customer order life cycle from order management, customer operations and service and logistics. As the Order Management Specialist, your key responsibilities will be: Provide centralised point of contact regarding customer orders ensuring that these are prioritised based on availability and maintain current processes for constrained items Daily interface with Sales team regarding new orders, changes to existing orders, cancellation requests, and delivery dates Daily communication with logistics team to schedule in priority orders, confirm status of current orders, research on missed deliveries and escalation to appropriate parties Provide insight and problem resolution to customers for material shortages Daily review and investigation into incomplete deliveries for immediate resolution Maintain the order book paying particular attention to any peculiarities Daily communication with customer and/or Sales Representative Order quality maintenance Supply / share data to daily S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) meeting Your key skills and experience will include: Proficient in Google and Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation). Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong numeracy and literacy. Strong business analysis, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering solutions and collaborating effectively with others.
