This is a great chance to work with a friendly and experienced team carrying out a varied role in the local property market….working as part of their Lettings department you will act as a key contact for landlords and tenants delivering great customer service.
Key duties will include:
* Managing your own portfolio of rental properties – liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors on a daily basis via phone, email and face to face contact
* Letting properties – carrying out marketing, viewings and negotiating between landlord and tenant
* Processing tenant applications, overseeing referencing and preparing leases
* Managing tenancies – organising repairs, ensuring compliance and visiting properties to carry out inventories, inspections and check outs including all follow up reports
* All connected property administration including deposit releases and use of lettings software package (SME)
* Building strong business relationships and providing a professional service, resolving any problems or complaints in a prompt manner
* Being an active team player – assisting colleagues in lettings and the estate agency team, reporting to management and meeting business objectives
Candidates for this role should ideally have previous experience in a property environment with great communication skills, an organised approach and confident all round admin abilities. Driving licence required with pool cars provided for out of office tasks.
Full time permanent position working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday but some flexibility is available for school runs etc, excellent salary £25-26k available based on experience with company pension and 32 days holiday per year.
