Here at ISS, as one of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to expand the technical resource aligned against their client's major "campus facility" for a central government body aligned to public health and wildlife preservation
We have deployed a large engineering maintenance resource to maintain M&E systems plus Fabric and small Projects across the multi building campus. This team is large, well qualified and competent, holding AP tickets with supervisory resource already in place
Here, acting as the link between the Engineering Team and site leadership you would manage the day to day maintenance service, ensure compliance and support the Site Lead in reporting to the client
As this is more of a senior leadership role, you will line manager more junior managers, and be involved more at a commercial, strategic basis
The site is prestigious, high profile and challenging, making this role as a major part of the technical delivery a fantastic position for a developing Technical Manager
Actions will include:
* Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction, supporting on account leadership in the management of service delivery and where required driving local initiatives as well as ensuring consistency in processes, systems and reporting
* Ensuring the efficient and consistent operation of all facility Engineering activities to meet contractual obligations with respect to the Account Regional portfolio.
* Support the development / execution and leadership to technicians and Engineers to site level Engineering budgets and forecasts in accordance with Group TS blueprints
* Support account technical leadership to be responsible for the leadership of all service delivery teams, resources involved in the delivery of Technical Services. (E.g., recruitment, ethics, performance assessment, personal development, personal wellbeing etc. driving company standing as employer of choice.
* Actively manage the professional development of all account technical leadership under his responsibility.
* Be responsible for the implementation of Engineering technology platform to support service delivery. Ensure the required reporting from the systems.
* Support the development and ensure effective implementation standard operating and maintenance procedures and processes for the Account (Group blueprints)
* Drive client specific initiatives such as savings targets, benchmarking, and best practice, including EHS Risk Management

* M&E Engineering background and qualification plus more extensive experience in a technical leadership capacity
