Job Description SEND Transport Manager 18-month interim contract Inside IR35 – £400-£450 per day (via umbrella) Midlands, Local Authority Due to a change in the service this local authority is looking for a SEND Transport Manager to support the team as they maintain their service over the next 18 months. If you are looking to manage a hardworking, specialist team, this job might be for you. Your duties as a SEND Transport Manager: To ensure a high standard delivery of home to school transport within budget. To contribute to the LA’s Transport Plan moves forward. To manage the provision and procurement of transport for individuals in line with their assessed needs. To manage and support the team in line with statutory guidance. Experience needed as a SEND Transport Manager: Have a proven track record of operational management in a senior role. Experience within SEND Transport necessary. Expert knowledge on Transport legislation. Experience supporting with Transportation procurement.
