This position is perfect for an experienced advisor with exposure to thinking outside of the box and working generally with complex cases. With a good basic, great OTE and no evening or weekend work, this is a great opportunity to join the team and business through a period of growth.
\n\nResponsibilities for the role of Residential Mortgage Advisor\n \n New Enquiries\n\nEnsure all details are fully completed on CRM immediately once a new enquiry is received.\nCarry out fact-finding exercises with direct customers where the loan is for a regulated mortgage contract, and we will be providing advice if qualified.\nComplete sourcing for all new enquiries.\nInitial enquiries follow up with a call to broker/client.\nCheck over terms completed by admin and send out with necessary compliance documentation to client/broker, Where the loan is regulated, a recommendation calls to be carried out.\nSystem\nKeeping notes up to date on all cases.\nEnsure that folders are kept tidy, both on paper and on the system.\n Introducer due diligence\n\nAdvising compliance of any new brokers so they can request documents.\n Documentation\n\nReview AIPs and Offers received - checking all financial details and requirements.\nReviewing documents received and application packs.\nReviewing valuations when received and submitted to the lender.\n Updates\n\nCheck case and completion updates for correct content and send to the client/broker.\nManage updates from all parties and inform those who require them.\n Other\n\nKeeping lender criteria spreadsheet/lender product guides/forms up to date in files.\nEnsuring introducers relationships are maintained and establishing new relationships.\nMaintaining a high level of service for all introducers & their clients.\nOffering the best advice to all clients for their borrowing needs.\nMaintaining compliant files.\nAnswering calls and taking new enquiries from brokers adhering to the Company's SLAs.\nReviewing new applications and forming a fully packaged file through liaising with both introducers and clients.\nProcessing pipeline business.\nMaintaining back-office system and ensuring this is used correctly in line with Company processes.\nLiaising with solicitors, lenders, and brokers on completions.\nTo ensure CPD is maintained to an appropriate level.\n Experience and skills required for the role of Residential Mortgage Advisor\n\nAbility to manage own diary, manage deadlines and meet targets set.\nGCSE Maths and English essential.\nCeMAP\nProven track record in a similar position with experience dealing with complex cases related to income, property or adverse in residential mortgages will be essential\n For more information regarding the role of Residential Mortgage Advisor please contact us\n \n Stellar Select is acting as an employment agency and is a corporate member of the REC.\n \n Due to a high volume of applications, we will only contact you if your application has been successful.
