• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Substantial teaching experience and exemplary teaching skills.
• Knowledge of and the ability to identify high-quality teaching.
• Ability to support staff development.
• Experience in school self-evaluation, development planning, and staff management.
• Ability to build effective relationships with staff, pupils, governors, and other members of the school community.
• Strong communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Data analysis skills for setting targets and identifying school weaknesses.

Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As an Assistant Headteacher at Yeo Moor Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.
Due to the promotion of our current Assistant Headteacher, we are recruiting for a full time Assistant Headteacher who will become part of a highly effective leadership team. The successful candidate will lead on a core subject and teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity to join a very successful and popular school and make a big difference to the lives of children.
As Assistant Headteacher, you will be responsible for:
• Formulate and monitor school aims, policies, and objectives.
• Lead on a core subject, phase (TBC) and teaching and learning.
• Act as Headteacher in their absence.
• Foster a positive school culture with high standards of behaviour and staff professionalism.
• Oversee behaviour management and support teachers.
• Ensure high-quality teaching across all subjects and phases.
• Lead CPD and provide staff development opportunities.
• Ensure effective use of data to inform teaching and school improvement.
• Ensure compliance with child protection and safeguarding regulations.
• Line management of staff.
• Work with the leadership team to drive school development.
