Hours: Fixed-term, part-time (12 months, 9 hours per week during term time) Location: Cirencester, GL7 6JS The Royal Agricultural University “RAU” has been at the forefront of agricultural education for over 175 years and is globally renowned for its links with industry and courses that are designed to meet the demands of the changing land-based sector. The RAU Library operates as part of a converged service with IT and this role plays a crucial part in delivering high quality Library services during extended opening hours. The successful candidate will be committed to putting customers at the heart of service delivery, supporting day-to-day library operations. In addition, we will expect you to have great communication skills, be able to build excellent team-working relationships and complete tasks to a high standard. The library can be very busy and we need staff who will respond in a calm and professional manner. The ability to work independently, show initiative and be flexible will also be essential as this role involves lone working (supported by CCTV and on-campus security).
