Main duties and purpose of the role : As Conference and Events Manager, you will be responsible for the running of all weddings, conferences and events taking place at Aldwark Manor Estate. The successful candidate will be confident, self-motivates and present a professional outlook at all times. You will have a high level of attention to detail, demonstrate strong customer service and consistently deliver the expected high levels of service. This is an area of our business that is having significant investment and therefore there are great opportunities for progression available. We also require you to work closely with the other Food and Beverage outlets to ensure that the business is covered and supported. You will provide Main duties and purpose of the role : Working with the event sales team to ensure all event details are right for the guest. Organise and communicate with all relevant departments regarding upcoming events. Write, deliver and maintain the conference and events standards for Aldwark Manor Estate Take ownership of stock control and ensure that everything is replenished and kept in order. Be proactive with customer comments and complaints. Identify potential upselling opportunities to increase revenue generation across the department. Take ownership of each event and be the main point of contact for the guests throughout. Have great leadership skills to effectively manage your team. Ensure all meeting rooms are set to the highest standard in line with the brand expectations Work to parameters set in the budget and work towards Hotel and Food and Beverage targets as agreed with the General Manager
