We currently have an ICA Maintenance Engineer – position available for a motivated individual to join our team in Devon. Joining us on a full-time basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £36,000 - £43,000 per annum plus excellent benefits. About the role The role is part of a flexible, sub-regional resource pool to provide co-ordination and expert support to existing operational maintenance activities, in variable locations and depending on need and priority. The role will assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of maintenance and improvement activities across mechanical, electrical and ICA assets, depending on individual’s skill sets. What you’ll be doing: Provide flexible and varied support to the regional water resources and production operation depending on operational priorities and requirements Plan, coordinate and deliver programmes of maintenance work and site upgrades ICA installation, commissioning and faultfinding Electrical installation, commissioning and fault finding Mechanical installation, commissioning and fault finding Prepare documentation such as risk assessments and method statements associated with work activity Review task instructions and update as necessary Provide hands on support to craft maintenance team by providing relief or additional support as and where required Maintain familiarity of the operation of a wide range of assets and equipment Carry out activities in accordance with work instructions, procedures, policies and statutory requirements Maintain high standards of site cleanliness and hygiene Identify root causes of plant failure and/or sub optimal performance and take ownership of resolution Improve the reliability and performance of the assets at the Water Treatment Works What we are looking for: 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade A to C including Maths and English.
