Business Development Executive
FMCG – Drinks
Field Based – covering Northwest - ideal location around the Warrington area. (expected to travel 4 days per week )
c. £33k (depending on experience) plus company car & benefits
The opportunity:
A global drink brand with an amazing culture is looking for a BDE to grow sales within the territory of the North West.
What will my key accountabilities be?
* Growing the sales of the brand within your own territory, which will include customers from the Wholesale, Convenience & out of home foodservice channels
* Building strong relationships with local customers, developing trust & credibility
* Developing new and existing customers, establishing and implementing business plans for growth and carrying out regular business reviews.
* Identifying client needs with their range of drinks plus any other NPD that is launched during your time in role.
* Managing your territory profit & loss (P&L) to ensure growth, right product, right place, right consumer
Who will I be working with?
Your line manager, National Account Team, customers
A great candidate will have:
* A tenacious and entrepreneurial approach and are pro-active in seeking opportunities
* Self-Motivation & resilience
* Experience of a sales environment is preferred although not essential
* Strong Interpersonal skills to build working relationships aimed at improving the status quo
* An inquisitive nature about your customers, markets and surroundings
* A growth mindset – if the business is not moving forward, they are moving backwards !
* Bachelor’s degree preferred but all bright sparks are welcome
* Financial numeracy and Competent use of Microsoft Office applications

CV review & Competency based questions
Second Stage – 1hr interview to be conducted by Controller and a colleague via Teams
Competency based questions followed up – exploring candidates’ strengths, development areas & ambitions
