Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Gloucestershire
Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30
Hours: 40 per week, Term Time only
We are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children aged 11-16 with SEMH needs in a bespoke Specialist School in Gloucestershire.
The Role:
The purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to provide support to students with SEMH needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual and group support to students with SEMH needs
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
* Monitor and record student progress
* Develop and implement strategies to support student behaviour and well-being
* Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
Requirements:
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Commitment to providing high-quality support to students
