What You’ll Gain Exposure to real-world investigations, supporting experienced professionals in the process Training in the latest forensic tools and techniques used by industry experts Opportunity to enhance your technical skills and knowledge in a growing and critical field Professional development and potential for future career opportunities within CCL Solutions Group Main Duties & Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned) Evidence Collection – Assist in the secure collection and preservation of digital evidence from various computer devices using industry standard forensic tools and software in accordance with internal procedures Document Reporting – Maintain detailed contemporaneous notes of forensic processes, evidence handling and results Case management - Effectively manage and record time and notes on projects to preserve TRTs and maintain a high level of productivity Assisting in the Archiving and Restoration of case data Adhering to and assisting with all obtained ISO standards and audits Pro-actively acquiring forensic knowledge to maintain up to date processes within the imaging laboratory Required Skill Set & Experience To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong interest in digital forensics and cybersecurity Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) Understanding of current ACPO guidelines, ISO17025 and the FSR Code of Practice Familiarity with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, or similar) is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and professionalism Ability to work with precision and accuracy with high attention to detail Computer literate Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and make sound and reasoned judgements Sound analytical and interpretation skills Education Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Information Security, or similar).
