Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work alongside the Engineering team and Operational teams covering all Pets Choice Blackburn sites on Lower Philips Road.

Role:
* General building and grounds maintenance across Pets Choice Blackburn sites from odd jobs to larger projects
* Working closely with the Engineering Department and liaising with other departments such as the Warehouse and Head Office
* Undertake Maintenance tasks as directed and prioritise urgent tasks
* Maintaining Building fabric
* Ensure standards and procedures are adhered to and work closely with Health & Safety
* Maintain workshop and tools to Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
* Assist engineering maintenance team members as required
* Assist in the improvement of Health & Safety standards across all sites
* Record all works on the CMMS system
* Work collaboratively and engage with other members of the wider Pets Choice team
* Support the delivery of continuous improvement action plans
* Support with developing the maintenance schedule alongside the Engineering Manager
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
* Heay lifting as required
* Indoor and outdoor work
* Occasional travel and use of company vehicles

* Demonstrate the ability to work with a varying selection of tools
* Ability to work independently and with a team when required
* Painting, joinery, plumbing and other building maintenance skills
* A good communicator at all levels
* Ability to balance multiple priorities
* A problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy
* A dynamic self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude
* Must be fluent in English, verbal and written
* Building qualification would be desirable
